I spent some time today working on my "independent" paper for publishing...I made quite a few changes to the research problem and questions. I am making good progress.

A living sacrifice...

Romans 12:1 –
I plead with you to give your bodies to God. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice — the kind he will accept.

Living sacrifice –
"Living" means resurrected. You will say to me: "How can this be? How can that which is resurrected be offered in sacrifice?" It is possible in the mystical union with the crucified and risen Lord.

We are a living sacrifice for God by not being conformed to this world. The world is defined for us in 1 John 2:15-16 as the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life.
